Committee responsibilities
As guardian of the Joint Management Agreement, the Committee is responsible for:
- Reviewing the effectiveness of the JMA in achieving its purpose.
- Discussing issues of mutual interest to both parties.
- Undertaking specific roles in relation to the individual Schedules, including:
- Making recommendations to Waikato Regional Council on the preparation, change, variation, or review of RMA planning documents.
- Undertaking any other tasks in accordance with the agreed Terms of Reference.
