Waikato Scheme Subcommittee

The Subcommittee provides local community advice to the Integrated Catchment Management Committee on:

1. Proposed Annual flood protection and river management activities under the Lower Waikato Waipā Control Scheme.
2. Proposed Annual land drainage activities under the Waikato Central, Franklin-Waikato, and Aka Aka-Otaua land drainage schemes.
3. Scheme and level of service reviews.
4. Matters affecting the operation, maintenance, and renewal of flood protection and land drainage infrastructure within the above schemes.
5. Priority areas for scheme investment in the above schemes.
