Committee responsibilities

This Subcommittee is responsible for considering and making recommendations on:

  1. Preparing the Regional Public Transport Plan for endorsement by the Regional Transport Committee and adoption by Waikato Regional Council.
  2. Adopting non-significant (as defined in the Regional Public Transport Plan) variations to the Regional Public Transport Plan.
  3. Adopting non-significant (as defined in the Regional Public Transport Plan) variations to the Regional Public Transport Plan.
  4. Considering and making recommendations on matters relevant to regional implementation and monitoring of the Regional Public Transport Plan.
  5. Receiving regular monitoring reports and presentations on relevant public transport matters.
  6. Preparing recommendations on public transport strategy and programmes, and investment requirements, to the relevant authorities.
